Dr. Chapkin Awarded $200,000 Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Grant

Congratulations to Dr. Robert Chapkin, who was one of 13 to receive the prestigious Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Grant. CPRIT is a $3 billion state initiative funded by general obligation bonds over a 10 year period ($300,000,000/year) to provide in-state grants for cancer research and prevention.
